Oil Painting (rectangle shape) - Boats #2

$4,200.00

Sometimes I prefer not to name my paintings. While that may seem unusual, my intention is to encourage you to stop and spend time with the work, allowing your eyes to move around and investigate the image.

This particular painting took over three months to complete. The process felt like a physical and mental "wrestling match" as I worked to refine the light, mark-making, color, and composition. It was created using layers of paint applied wet-on-wet with a palette knife.

I see this as a painting of ‘hope’ . The peachy light pushing away the rain clouds.
